Another high-rise apartment project is in the works for Dallas’ booming Uptown district.
Trammell Crow Residential has purchased a development site on Oak Grove Avenue between Hall Street and Lemmon. The more than 1-acre tract now is occupied by several office buildings located just east of McKinney Avenue.
Trammell Crow Residential plans to build 13-story, 185-unit luxury apartment project on the prime redevelopment site, according to managing director Matt Enzler. The company recently finished a similar 15-story residential high-rise a few blocks away on Carlisle Street.
That project, called Carlisle and Vine, has 159 apartments starting in price around $1,900 a month. The largest units fetch more than $11,000 in rent.
Trammell Crow Residential acquired the Oak Grove Avenue site by assembling property from three different owners. Jake Milner, Grant Brodeur and Scott Lake of Davidson & Bogel Real Estate LLC brokered the property sale.
The planned tower will join more than a dozen new high-rise residential buildings on the way in the Dallas area with more than 4,000 luxury rental units.
