Developers have topped out construction on the tallest new apartment tower going up in Dallas’ booming Uptown District.
Trammell Crow Co.’s High Street Residential is building the 34-story Residences at Park District high-rise on the north side of Klyde Warren Park on Olive Street.
The building will have 228 luxury rental units.
“We are excited with the progress we have made on the Residences at Park District and look forward to beginning our preleasing efforts and opening our leasing and marketing center in January 2018,” High Street’s Joel Behrens said in a written statement.
The deluxe rental community will include a business center, fitness center, resort-style pool, entertaining lounge with kitchen, a dog park and spa.
High Street is building the tower in partnership with Metropolitan Life Insurance.
It’s next door to the 20-story PWC Tower, a 500,000-square-foot office building at Woodall Rodgers Freeway and Pearl Street.
There’s also a retail and restaurant building facing the park in the 3-acre development.
Balfour Beatty is the general contractor, and HKS designed the building.
Residences at Park District is one of a handful of large apartment high-rises under construction in Uptown and downtown Dallas.
