Bivins Gallery is pleased to present the vibrant paintings of master colorist Richard Hickam in Richard Hickam: Expressions of Color, on view from September 16 through October 21, 2017. The show will occupy the main gallery, and will trace Hickam’s artistic development from photorealism to large-scale abstracts to figurative abstractions, and his dedicated examination of the manipulation of color and brushstroke. Karen and Michael Bivins will host an opening reception for the exhibition with the artist in attendance at Bivins Gallery on Sat., October 21, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for the opening and for all guests of Bivins Gallery during normal business hours.
