AVANT GARDE EXHIBIT FOR ADULTS ONLY
The Goss-Michael Foundation
2500 Cedar Springs
Tuesday, May 20, 10:00AM through Tuesday, May 20, 6:00PM
The Goss-Michael Foundation proudly presents the work of acclaimed artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster, who describe themselves as being “consistently inconsistent”. Their work is inspired by pop and punk culture, a narcissistic consumer society and the idea of doing everything against the norm. Noble and Webster challenge the relationship between the viewer and conceptual social statements. Using various mediums, like poly-sulfide rubber, scrap metal and bright lights, they create shadowed silhouettes and neon writings, presenting the viewer with a journey into their own romantic personas. The Goss-Michael foundation exhibits this innovative and visually seductive body of work through Noble and Webster’s most controversial pieces, now being shown through September 30th, 2008.***THIS EXHIBIT CONTAINS EXPLICIT ADULT CONTENT AND IS ONLY FOR ADULT VIEWERS***
